Job summary

Cherry Grove Childcare and Family Centre Hawke's Bay is seeking an enthusiastic Lead Teacher to join our team and help lead the day-to-day operation of the centre alongside the centre manager.

You will mentor teaching staff, ensure high-quality learning and care outcomes for children, assist with compliance, licensing, ERO and MOE requirements, and support enrolment administration and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Holds current New Zealand Registered Teacher Certification.
• Experience in Early Childhood Education leadership.
• Understanding or willingness to develop expertise in ECE funding, compliance, and administration.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Professional communication and positive relationships with staff and families.
• Energetic, humorous, positive and passionate about supporting children and teachers.

Cherry Grove Childcare and Family Centre is looking for an enthusiastic, capable, and highly organised Lead Teacher to join our team.

As lead teacher, you will work closely with our centre manager to help lead the day-to-day operation of the centre including:
