Job summary

All About Children Marton is seeking an experienced Head Teacher to lead our preschool team at a growing centre in Marton, Manawatu/Whanganui. This full-time, permanent role focuses on mentoring staff, building strong relationships with tamariki and whanau, and delivering high-quality teaching in partnership with our diverse community.

You’ll bring a Level 7 ECE qualification and Full NZ Teacher Registration, plus a passion for development of others, curriculum knowledge, and confident

Qualifications

• Level 7 ECE qualification required (Bachelor of Education or Graduate Diploma in Teaching – ECE).
• Full NZ Teacher Registration essential.
• Passion for early childhood education and developing others.
• Solid understanding of curriculum and effective teaching practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the Preschool teaching team.
• Build meaningful, respectful relationships with tamariki and whanau.
• Integrate kaupapa Maori and Pasifika practices into the programme.

As our centre continues to expand, we’re looking for an experienced team leader to join our team.

Ideally, you’ll have 1–2 years of experience as a Head Teacher or Team Leader in an over-two-year-old environment and be ready to take the next step in your leadership journey.

You’ll know how to:
