Job summary

Rotokauri Early Education Centre is seeking a passionate lead teacher / assistant manager to oversee the kindergarten room and support the centre’s leadership. The role combines teaching with daily operations to ensure high-quality education and care for tamariki.

You will contribute to a thriving learning environment, receive mentoring and professional development, and work a structured 8-hour day from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, in a modern centre near The Base in Hamilton.

Qualifications

• Certificated teacher required
• Experience in early childhood education
• Strong leadership and teamwork capability

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the kindergarten room (ages 4 to 5)
• Lead and support your team to provide high-quality education and care
• Assist the centre manager with operations and leadership tasks
