Veolia Australia & New Zealand is seeking an experienced Supervisor - Sludge Minimisation Facility to lead operations at Moa Point, Wellington. You will oversee a 5-person team, drive safety culture, and implement THP-powered sludge treatment with world-class practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or technical certifications in wastewater treatment, or equivalent experience managing O&M teams.
• Minimum 5 years in wastewater treatment operations.
• Experience with gas, steam, and heat integration systems.
• Supervisory/leadership experience and proficiency with SCADA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the SMF operational team, fostering a proactive safety culture.
• Ensure optimal performance of all SMF processes, including the innovative THP.
• Collaborate with the Moa Point WWTP team to ensure integrated plant performance.
• Implement process improvements and operational optimisations.
• Manage safety initiatives, compliance, and emergency preparedness.
• Transfer specialised technical knowledge and develop local capability.
• Monitor performance metrics and maintain accurate operational records.
• Deputise for the Wastewater Treatment Manager as required.
