Job summary

Veolia Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Commercial Manager based in Wellington, NZ who will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Wellington contract with Tiaki Wai, including WWTP O&M, capital works, and the Sludge Minimisation Facility.

You will optimise financial performance, mitigate risks, manage variations and payment mechanisms, and drive commercial acumen across local teams to ensure profitable contract delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial management or related role with infrastructure, utilities, water, or construction sectors highly desirable.
• Contract management and commercial law knowledge and experience with complex contractual arrangements.
• Substantial experience and knowledge of various payment mechanisms (including lump sum, cost-reimbursable and hybrid models).
