Job summary

Ara Poutama Aotearoa invites applications for a Supervisor at Te Korowai, our residential reintegration service in Upper Hutt. The role reports to the Operations Lead and works with Probation Officers to support residents with complex needs.

The position is fixed-term until 30 June 2027. You will supervise day-to-day reintegration activities, ensure safety, and accompany residents to community appointments, requiring a full NZ driver licence. Shifts include weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with complex needs.
• Ability to supervise and motivate residents.
• Full NZ driver licence.
• Willingness to work shifts including weekends and nights.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day needs of residents.
• Plan and undertake structured reintegrative activities with residents.
• Ensure safety and welfare of residents, staff and visitors.
• Assist residents with rehabilitation and reintegration needs.
• Take residents to appointments in the community.
