Arvida is seeking a Foodservice Manager to lead and inspire a kitchen team, delivering high-quality meals that meet residents’ nutrition needs. You will manage budgets, ensure Food Control Plan compliance, and drive excellence in dining experiences across both kitchen and cafe operations.

You will be part of a leadership group focused on wellness and resident satisfaction, requiring strong organisational skills, a hands-on approach, and a collaborative mindset to support our positive living

Competenze

• Current NZ Food Safety Certificate.
• 3+ years as Head Cook, Chef or Kitchen Manager in aged care or similar environment.
• Strong computer literacy including Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Leadership that inspires and motivates, with a harmonious team culture.
• Ability to manage a budget.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure with good time management.
• Empathy towards older adults, good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Honesty, reliability and integrity.
• Creative and open-minded.

Mansioni

• Oversee the kitchen service for smooth, efficient operation including supply and budget management.
• Lead and roster kitchen staff; ensure compliance with the Food Control Plan.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver a first-class resident dining experience.
• Manage the cafe menu and team within the cafe.
