Job summary

Watercare Services Limited is seeking an expert in hydraulic modelling to lead the modelling function across the water network planning team in Auckland. You will provide technical governance, quality assurance, and strategic input for capital projects and development planning.

The role requires 15+ years in hydraulic modelling/water network planning, Chartered Professional status, and a track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in hydraulic modelling and water network planning.
• Chartered Professional status is preferred.
• Experience leading modelling projects and mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and governance for hydraulic modelling across Watercare.
• Lead complex hydraulic modelling assessments using InfoWorks WS Pro.
• Review and audit hydraulic models to support planning and investment decisions.
• Mentor hydraulic modellers and drive best practice across the organisation.
