Job summary

Beca Limited is seeking a motivated Hydraulic Modeller to join our Water team across New Zealand offices. You will build and calibrate hydraulic models for wastewater and water networks, analyse hydraulic and GIS data and support senior engineers on planning and design tasks.

You hold a Bachelor of Science or Engineering and have 6+ years of relevant experience, with proficiency in InfoWorks ICM and WS Pro.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong grounding in wastewater and water hydraulics theory.
• Experience delivering modelling projects in a consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and calibrate hydrological and hydraulic models of wastewater and water networks.
• Analyse and assess hydraulic, GIS and survey data.
• Utilise GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
• Undertake modelling investigations, master planning, and growth studies.
• Support senior engineers in planning, feasibility and concept design.
• Provide outputs suitable for review by specialist team members.
