Job summary

CGR Services is seeking Senior & Lead Data Centre Engineers / AI Installation Supervisors for a 7-month contract in Auckland.

You will lead large-scale rack-and-stack, coordinate multiple vendors, and manage data centre infrastructure delivery across sites, including cabling, power, cooling, and GPU/HPC deployments. Strong leadership and vendor-management skills are essential for on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data centre rack and stack activities across multiple sites.
• Proven ability to manage cabling vendors and subcontractors to deliver.
• Hands-on data centre infrastructure leadership with HPC/GPU exposure.
• Knowledge of liquid and air cooling and power management.
• Experience coordinating multiple vendors and workstreams on large upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale rack and stack activities on Data Centre sites.
• Coordinate server unboxing, asset staging and rack installation.
• Oversee structured cabling programs including copper and fibre.
• Manage deployment timelines and ensure milestones are met.
• Ensure safety, compliance and documentation standards.
