Job summary

Franklin Smith is seeking multiple experienced sheet metal workers with a good attitude and strong references to join client teams across New Zealand.

You will mark out, shape, form and join sheet metal and other materials, read blueprints, measure components, weld metal parts and plan layouts. The role is permanent, minimum 30 hours per week, with some regional travel and relocation support where needed.

Qualifications

• Must have NZ citizenship or resident status and at least 3 years full-time sheet metal experience on commercial or civil projects.
• Be able to pass police check and drug test.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will also have:

About the role:

- Minimum 30 hours per week.

- Hourly wage ranging from $28.00 - $35.00.

- Permanent role - Monday to Friday, with extra shifts available on weekends.

- As part of your employment, you may be required to travel to a different region for a different project, including, Auckland, Manawatū-Whanganui, Marlborough, Waikato, Wellington, Otago, Nelson, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Northland, West Coast, Bay of Plenty, Canterbury, Gisborne, Southland.

- You will be given reasonable notice if you are required to relocate to another region. Franklin Smith will cover transportation and accommodation expenses related to the relocation.
