Job summary

Rocket Lab in Mahia, Hawke's Bay, New Zealand is seeking an Electrical Technician - Launch to join the Electron team. You will be based in Mahia and play an integral part in all launch activities, building, testing, and maintaining critical launch systems.

You will work with a tight-knit team of technicians and engineers to enable LC-1 launches at a high cadence, ensuring reliability under tight deadlines. A NZ electrical license and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current NZ electrical license with no restrictions.
• Able to read, understand and follow detailed schematics, drawings and instructions.
• Capable of working under pressure and to strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Based in Mahia, Hawkes Bay, contribute to all launch activities.
• Build, test and maintain critical launch systems for Electron.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to deliver launches.
• Support LC-1 launch cadence with a results‑driven mindset.
