Job summary

Millbrook Resort in Arrowtown is seeking a Landscape Gardener to maintain our gardens, grounds and outdoor spaces to a high standard, contributing to the beauty and guest experience.

You will work as part of the Grounds team, learn horticulture knowledge and practical landscaping skills, and support safe, collaborative work practices while delivering superb presentation across the estate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years previous gardening, landscaping or outdoor work experience is essential.
• Understanding of horticultural practices is required.
• Ability to operate small plant machinery is advantageous.
• Enjoy working outdoors and creating well-maintained spaces.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance gardens, grounds and outdoor spaces across the resort.
• Assist with planting, pruning, garden maintenance and general landscape care.
• Support the presentation and upkeep of the resort to ensure guest experiences are exceptional.
• Work safely and collaboratively as part of the Grounds team.
• Learn and develop horticulture knowledge and practical landscaping skills.
• Contribute to a positive team culture and high standard of workmanship.

Working as part of acollaborative and supportive team, you will assist with a variety of landscapemaintenance tasks while continuing to develop your horticulture knowledge andpractical skills.

Hours: Full timepermanent (30/40 hours per week guaranteed)
