Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Biochemistry, Biology or a related scientific discipline
• Laboratory, quality control or testing experience is advantageous but not essential
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Current Full New Zealand Driver's Licence
• Willingness to learn and contribute across a broad range of laboratory activities

Responsibilities

• Analysing production and customer samples
• Conducting routine laboratory testing and quality control activities
• Supporting troubleshooting and technical investigations
• Assisting with wastewater testing and sample management
• Preparing reagents and maintaining laboratory equipment
• Inputting data into internal and external quality systems
• Supporting new product testing and evaluation of raw materials
• Maintaining laboratory documentation and housekeeping standards
• Providing occasional support for field trials and technical projects
