Job summary

La Zeppa at Cook Brothers Bars in Auckland is seeking an energetic Bartender for a part-time, permanent role. You will join a dynamic rooftop venue and have opportunities for leadership growth within Cook Brothers Hospitality Group.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, crafting drinks, managing bar operations, promoting sales, handling payments, and maintaining a clean, efficient service area with the support of the duty manager.

• Maintain bar cleanliness, washing glassware, tapping kegs and rotating stock.
• Support the duty manager and wider team as required.

The Role:

Join the bar team at one of Auckland’s most iconic rooftop venues, La Zeppa. We’re on the lookout for an energetic, skilled Bartender to join our team in a part‑time, permanent role.

This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a fast‑paced, vibrant environment with real pathways into leadership roles across the Cook Brothers Hospitality Group.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the La Zeppa crew, you’ll help keep our venue pumping. Your responsibilities include:

• Greeting and engaging guests to create warm, memorable experiences
• Preparing and serving cocktails, beers, wines, coffees, mixed drinks and non‑alcoholic beverages
• Operating the bar during service, including setup, restocking, and pack‑down
• Following opening and closing procedures with accuracy
• Promoting products, upselling, and supporting venue sales targets
• Handling payments and POS transactions
• Maintaining bar cleanliness, washing glassware, tapping kegs and rotating stock
• Supporting the duty manager and wider team as required
