Job summary

The Glass Goose in Auckland is seeking an outgoing, energetic bar team member for a part-time, permanent role within Cook Brothers Hospitality.

Grow your skills in a fast-paced, vibrant setting with real pathways into leadership across the Cook Brothers Hospitality Group. You’ll greet guests, prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, coffees and non-alcoholic drinks; run bar service, restock, handle payments, keep the area clean and support the duty manager.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and engaging guests to create warm, memorable experiences
• Preparing and serving cocktails, beers, wines, coffees, mixed drinks and non-alcoholic beverages
• Operating the bar during service, including setup, restocking, and pack-down
• Following opening and closing procedures with accuracy
• Promoting products, upselling, and supporting venue sales targets
• Handling payments and POS transactions
• Maintaining bar cleanliness, washing glassware, tapping kegs and rotating stock
• Supporting the duty manager and wider team as required

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the Glass Goose crew, you’ll help keep our venue pumping. Your responsibilities include:

• Greeting and engaging guests to create warm, memorable experiences


• Preparing and serving cocktails, beers, wines, coffees, mixed drinks and non-alcoholic beverages


• Operating the bar during service, including setup, restocking, and pack-down


• Following opening and closing procedures with accuracy


• Promoting products, upselling, and supporting venue sales targets


• Handling payments and POS transactions


• Maintaining bar cleanliness, washing glassware, tapping kegs and rotating stock


• Supporting the duty manager and wider team as required
