Job summary

Free Flow Manufacturing in Auckland seeks an experienced Machine Operator with hands-on KRONES or TETRA PAK experience to join our production team. You will set up, operate, monitor, and perform basic maintenance on filing/packaging lines to ensure smooth and consistent production runs.

You will follow GMP and safety standards, conduct visual inspections, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience operating machinery in a production environment.
Familiar with KRONES or TETRA PAK systems and mechanical settings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Understanding of OEE, line efficiency, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor KRONES / TETRA PAK filling, depal and packaging machines according to daily production plans.
Perform machine adjustments and changeovers to accommodate product or format variations.
Conduct visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
Identify and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues or stoppages, escalating complex problems as needed.
Complete daily production and downtime reporting.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of machinery and work area in line with GMP and hygiene standards.
Follow Health & Safety and food safety protocols at all times.
Participate in continuous improvement activities and machine efficiency initiatives.
