Job summary

Open Country Dairy Group in New Zealand is seeking a Packing Operator for our Mokai site. You will safely operate powder packing, palletising and handling equipment to meet production and quality targets, and monitor FMC (Bag-in-Box) filling with quality checks.

You will follow HACCP, RMP and site procedures, maintain records, and support continuous improvement. The role suits someone with basic manufacturing experience, good mechanical aptitude, and a safety‑minded attitude; forklift licence

Qualifications

• Must have NCEA Level 1 (or equivalent)
• Manufacturing or process operating experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to health and safety and accurate record keeping

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powder packing, palletising and powder handling equipment to meet production and quality targets.
• Operate and monitor FMC (Bag-in-Box) filling and packing equipment with quality and traceability checks.
• Follow HACCP, RMP and site compliance requirements while maintaining production records and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and waste reduction across the site.
