Job summary

Wai Hospitality Group is hiring a Kitchenhand to join Public Italian Kitchen, Finz Seafood & Grill, and Bella Cucina in Queenstown. You will help wash dishes, assist in food prep, store and label food, and keep the kitchen clean and safe in a busy environment.

No experience is required, on-the-job training is provided. The role offers NZD 25–27 per hour, rostered shifts across Monday to Sunday, staff meals, venue discounts, accommodation options, and opportunities for growth.

• Wash dishes and keep the dish area clear
• Food preparation, assist in producing menu items to a high standard
• Store and label food correctly
• Cleaning all areas of the kitchen to a high standard
• Maintain standards for food safety in all food preparation areas
• Communication skills, with the ability to listen and follow instructions
• Notify Head/Sous Chef of any breakages or equipment
• Uphold standards and ensure compliance with regulations

We're looking for kitchenhands who are reliable, work well as part of a team, and take pride in keeping a busy kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly.

What you'll be doing
