Job summary

InterContinental Wellington is seeking a reliable Kitchen Steward to join our Kitchen team adjacent to Wellington's waterfront. You will help maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, quality and standards across kitchen operations to ensure a five-star guest experience and bring the InterContinental brand to life.

To succeed, you should look smart in uniform, be willing to help colleagues, work well in a team and on your own, take direction, and stay physically fit to safely lift objects over

Qualifications

• Look smart and wear your uniform with pride.

• Ability to work as part of a team and unsupervised to complete tasks on time to a high standard.
• Take direction and show initiative.
• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Be physically fit and able to safely lift and carry objects over 10kg.

Adjacent to Wellington’s waterfront, InterContinental Wellington is the most centrally located and experienced global five-star hotel in New Zealand’s capital city. Your day to day

As a Kitchen Steward, your role is the foundational for our Kitchen and Restaurant operations, with no two days being the same. You’ll help keep our cleanliness, quality and standards to the highest level by giving overall support throughout kitchen operations and other departments to ensure our customers and guests experience a five-star service and the InterContinental brand is brought to life
