Job summary

Gibbston Valley Wines in Gibbston, Otago, is seeking a reliable Kitchen Hand to join a guest‑facing team. You will assist in food prep, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure health and safety standards are met in a luxury vineyard setting.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation, including washing, chopping and defrosting foods and preparing sauces and marinades.
• Fully preparing basic dishes, such as salads, when asked.
• Following the food control plan at all times.
• Ensuring that all dishes are sanitized by maintaining proper water temperature and chemical levels.
