Job summary

Gibbston Valley Wines in Gibbston, Otago, New Zealand is hiring a Housekeeper for a permanent full-time role (minimum 30 hours/week). You will clean guest villas, restaurant, spa and public areas to a high standard, manage linen and restock amenities to welcome guests.

We seek candidates with at least 1 year of housekeeping experience, sharp attention to detail, reliable weekend availability, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of housekeeping experience in hospitality.
• Sharp eye for detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to work weekends/public holidays.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Fluency in English and good communication.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest villas, restaurant, spa and public areas to a high standard.
• Collect and sort linen for laundering.
• Restock guest amenities and supplies per service standards.
• Deliver towels or items to guest rooms on request.
• Perform scheduled deep cleaning tasks (carpet steaming, spring clean).
• Maintain a welcoming and peaceful guest atmosphere.
