Job summary

Millennium Hotel Queenstown, part of Millennium Hotels & Resorts NZ, is seeking a Kitchen Attendant. You will maintain a clean kitchen, support basic food prep, and keep appliances and work areas organized to help chefs deliver high-quality dishes.

The role requires willingness to work a varied roster with AM/PM shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Ongoing training and meals on duty are provided in a supportive team environment at one of New Zealand’s stunning locations.

Qualifications

• Some kitchen experience.
• Able to work a variable roster including AM/PM shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail and high hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure as part of a close-knit team.
• Willingness to learn and pitch in wherever needed.
• Available to start soon if successful.

• Keep kitchen sparkling clean from floors to fridges and pots to pans.
• Operate commercial dishwashers and keep spaces tidy.
• Sort rubbish for recycling and maintain safe, organised work areas.

Key responsibilities

You'll take pride in keeping the kitchen sparkling clean, from floors and fridges to pots and pans. You'll operate commercial dishwashers, put everything back in its place, sort rubbish for recycling, and keep our workspaces safe and organised. You'll also assist with simple food preparation, helping service run smoothly and efficiently.
