Arvida Group is seeking a friendly Kitchen Assistant in Queenstown to support the kitchen team in delivering meals to residents. You will assist with meal preparation, including assembling ingredients, baking, cooking, toasting and heating food items, while maintaining high cleanliness and safety standards.

You'll help keep the kitchen and scullery areas tidy and safe, contribute to a friendly, supportive team, and work from a fixed roster to provide consistent hours.

Competenze

• Experience in a commercial kitchen or similar environment.
• Highly motivated, able to take initiative and flexible.
• Great hygiene standards and commitment to health and safety.
• Ability to work closely with and support colleagues.

Mansioni

• Assist Head Chef / Kitchen Manager with meal preparation (assembling ingredients, baking, cooking, toasting and heating items).
• Prepare and portion meals for residents.

We're looking for a friendly and flexible assistant to join our fantastic Kitchen team.

The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for delivering efficient food service to our residents and providing a high level of customer service.

You will support the Head Chef / Kitchen Manager through kitchen and meal preparation including assembling and preparing ingredients, baking, cooking, toasting, and heating food items. You will also be responsible for keeping the kitchen and scullery areas clean, tidy, and safe.
