Job summary

Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) invites applications for a NZ Markets coordinator role based in Invercargill. You will support the Key Accounts team by delivering herd-improvement insights, customer engagement, data analysis, and sales support to strengthen relationships with major dairy farmers across New Zealand.

The role focuses on high-quality delivery, strategic development, and comprehensive sales support, with regular travel and a flexible, collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and technical capability.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships, internally and externally.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MINDA experience preferred.
• Knowledge of dairy farming systems, herd improvement, and data management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Well-developed planning, organisation, and time management abilities.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing, sales support, or customer experience role is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide reporting and analysis that supports herd improvement discussions and customer decision-making.
• Support the Key Accounts Manager to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with a portfolio of Key Account customers and provide outstanding service and support.
• Coordinate sales initiatives and ensure customers are informed about LIC products and services.
• Attend sales meetings alongside Key Account Management team and handle all administrative tasks, covering pre- and post-sales activities.
• Deliver tailored herd improvement solutions that drive customer productivity and profitability.
• Work with the Key Accounts team to leverage data and insights that enhance service delivery.
• Represent LIC at industry events and share customer insights to help shape future offerings.
• Regular travel, including occasional overnight stays, is a feature of this role.
