As a proud generational co-operative, we’re here for farmers, their families, and rural communities, not just for today, but for the future. And none of it happens without our people. Whether on farm, in the lab, or behind the scenes, every one of us plays a part in helping New Zealand farmers succeed.

  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with a portfolio of Key Account customers and provide outstanding service and support.
  • Timely Campaign Execution: Coordinate sales initiatives and ensure customers are informed about LIC products and services.
  • Comprehensive Sales Support: Attend sales meetings alongside Key Account Management team and handle all administrative tasks, covering both pre- and post-sales activities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Solutions and Insight-Led Selling: Support the delivery of tailored herd improvement solutions that drive customer productivity and profitability.
  • Data Sharing and Analysis Collaboration: Work with the Key Accounts team to leverage data and insights that enhance service delivery.
  • Customer Insight Gathering: Represent LIC at industry events and share customer insights to help shape future offerings.
  • Travel Requirements: Regular travel, including occasional overnight stays, is a feature of this role.
Your Key Skills & Experience:
  • Strong attention to detail and technical capability.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships, internally and externally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ideally experience working with MINDA.
  • Knowledge of dairy farming systems, herd improvement, and data management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Well-developed planning, organisation, and time management abilities.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing, sales support, or customer experience role is advantageous.
In Return:

In addition to a competitive salary, you'll receive some great benefits including:

  • Extra leave days
  • Flexible working options
  • Discounted health, life, income and disability insurances
