Job summary

EROAD is seeking a Junior Test Automation QA Engineer to join the Devices Team. You will test device firmware, hardware integrations, APIs and backend services through manual and automated checks, building automated test suites in Java or Kotlin and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with physical devices and Linux environments to validate real-world behaviour, in a fast-paced agile setting.

Qualifications

• Solid technical grounding in Java-based test automation.
• Familiarity with serial communication protocols is a plus.
• Experience with Linux/Ubuntu environments.

Responsibilities

• Test device firmware, hardware integrations, APIs and backend services through both manual and automated checks.
• Build automated test suites in Java or Kotlin for device/firmware testing.
• Write supporting scripts to extend test coverage and automate validation tasks.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality checks.
• Collaborate with developers and product stakeholders in an agile team.
