Job summary

Envision Labour Hire Limited in Auckland is seeking a skilled Joiner/Cabinet Maker to join our workshop and contribute to high-quality cabinetry projects. You will read drawings, select materials, and assemble bespoke furniture.

You should have proven joinery experience, be detail-focused, reliable, and able to work independently or with a team. A manual driving licence is preferred; on-site fitting may be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cabinet making, bench joinery, or shopfitting.
• Ability to read technical drawings and work independently.
• Reliable, punctual, and a good communicator.
• Full driving licence preferred; comfortable driving a manual vehicle.
• Experience with hardwood, softwood, MDF and veneers.

Responsibilities

• Craft bespoke furniture and cabinetry from drawings and specs.

A skilled and passionate Joiner/Cabinet Maker.

We are a well-established commercial joinery company specializing in high-quality, custom-made cabinetry, fitted furniture, and joinery solutions. Due to growing demand, we are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our workshop.

The Role Includes:

• Crafting and assembling bespoke furniture and cabinetry from drawings/specifications
• Working with a variety of materials including hardwood, softwood, MDF, and veneered boards
• Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
• Fitting and installing pieces on-site (as required)
• Maintaining a clean and organised workshop
• Collaborating with a team and occasionally liaising with clients or site managers

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in cabinet making, bench joinery, or shopfitting
• Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality workmanship
• Ability to read technical drawings and work independently
• Skilled in using woodworking machinery, tools, and techniques
• Reliable, punctual, and a good communicator
• Full driving licence (preferred)
• Must be comfortable driving a manual vehicle
