Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of software development and enterprise application delivery.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
• Experience with C#/.NET and JavaScript or exposure to modern app development technologies.
• Good understanding of MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-based deployment.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Maven, Git, Ansible, Terraform.
• Knowledge of automated testing using JUnit, Mockito, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Selenium.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools like CloudWatch, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Understanding of authentication/authorization, OAuth2, JWT, IAM.
• Strong SDLC, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance scalable software applications and microservices.
• Analyse business requirements, technical specifications, and designs to implement solutions.
• Develop backend services and REST APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Develop integrations with internal systems, third-party APIs, payment services, and other enterprise apps.
• Implement secure features using Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT, and AWS IAM.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
• Design, deploy, and support apps using AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Load Balancer, Auto Scaling, CloudFormation).
• Build and maintain containerized apps using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Maven, Git, and related tools.
• Support infrastructure automation and deployment with Ansible and Terraform.
• Perform unit, API, integration, and functional testing with JUnit, Mockito, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Selenium.
• Monitor app performance and system health with CloudWatch, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
• Prepare technical docs and support deployment and operations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate across teams.
