Aderant in Auckland City, NZ is seeking an Intermediate Software Engineer to join our on-site team. You will develop web-based features in the Expert product suite using C#/.NET and modern front-end tech, while collaborating with product and QA to deliver reliable software.

You'll work on Microsoft 365 integrations, REST APIs, and SQL Server backed services within an Agile environment. If you enjoy solving complex problems and writing clean, maintainable code, this role offers growth and impact

Competenze

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience, including web application development.
• Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework/.NET Core.
• Front-end web technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and at least one modern framework (React or Angular).
• Experience with RESTful API design and consumption.
• Exposure to Microsoft 365 integration work — e.g., Microsoft Graph API, Outlook or Teams add-ins.
• Understanding of authentication/authorization concepts relevant to Microsoft 365 (OAuth 2.0, Entra ID, SSO).
• Working knowledge of SQL Server, including writing and troubleshooting queries.
• Familiarity with source control (Git or Azure DevOps) and collaborative development workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through ambiguous requirements.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document technical work for non-developer audiences.

• Expert Web Application Development: design, build, and maintain web-based features within the Expert product suite.
• Develop front-end components (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript) alongside server-side C#/.NET logic and APIs.
• Work with existing data and services, including SQL Server-backed systems, to build reliable features.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot defects and support QA, with root-cause analysis.
• Office 365 Integration Delivery: integration between Expert and Microsoft 365 services via Graph API.
