Job summary

Chesters Plumbing and Bathroom Centre is hiring for an Inwards Goods team member at our Lower Hutt branch. You’ll receip t goods, unload deliveries, process paperwork, shelve stock, and pick customer orders, with occasional deliveries.

There are opportunities to grow within the team, with support from experienced Managers, in a hands-on role offering variety and autonomy. You must be reliable and enjoy a team environment.

Qualifications

• Sharp eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
• Great communication and a team-first attitude.
• Physical fitness and willingness to roll up sleeves.
• Positive, can-do mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Warehouse/inwards goods experience is highly advantageous.
• Full Class 1 license with ability to drive a manual vehicle is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receipting goods in and out of the warehouse.
• Unloading deliveries and processing supplier paperwork.
• Shelving stock and picking customer orders.
• Loading delivery truck with occasional customer deliveries.
• Support the branch to run smoothly with variety in duties.

About the Role

We have a great opportunity at our Lower Hutt branch for an enthusiastic and reliable Inwards Goods team member. You'll be responsible for receipting goods in and out of the warehouse and helping ensure the branch runs smoothly. This hands-on role offers plenty of variety. You'll assist with unloading deliveries, processing paperwork from suppliers, shelving stock, picking customer orders, and loading the delivery truck with the occasional customer delivery. There are excellent opportunities for advancement with the team at Chesters.

What we're looking for:
