Plumbing World Hamilton is seeking a reliable Inwards Goods/Driver to help receive, store, dispatch stock and deliver to customers and job sites. This hands-on role balances warehouse tasks with on-road duties, across a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday, with specific hours discussed at interview.

You'll need a full NZ Driver Licence, a current forklift qualification, and a customer-focused approach as you help keep shelves stocked, orders accurate, and deliveries on time.

Competenze

• A full, clean NZ Class 1 Driver Licence.
• Current forklift licence required.
• Experience with dispatch, freight coordination, or transport documentation is valued.
• Trade industry knowledge is helpful; training provided.
• Physically fit for regular lifting up to 20 kg.

Are you someone who enjoys a hands-on role, takes pride in keeping things organised, and likes the variety of being both in the warehouse and out on the road? Join our busy Plumbing World Hamilton team in a full-time role where no two days are the same.

We're looking for a reliable and motivated Inwards Goods / Driver to play a key role in ensuring stock is received, stored, dispatched, and delivered accurately and efficiently. You'll be an important part of our branch operations, helping maintain a well-run warehouse while providing outstanding service to our customers.

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Receiving, checking, and processing incoming stock.
• Unloading deliveries and safely organising products within the warehouse.
• Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Coordinating and dispatching deliveries to ensure goods arrive on time.
• Delivering products to customers and job sites while providing excellent customer service.
• Completing stock replenishment, cycle counts, and inventory checks.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are always followed.
• Supporting the wider branch team with day-to-day operational requirements.

We're offering a permanent full-time opportunity, working 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday.

Specific hours will be discussed during the interview process.

• Trade industry knowledge is beneficial but not essential. We'll teach you everything you need to know!

• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• The ability to work well under pressure while maintaining accuracy.

• A full, clean Class 1 New Zealand Driver Licence.
• Physical fitness, as the role involves regular movement and lifting of stock.
• A current forklift licence is essential.
• Experience with dispatch systems, freight coordination, or transport documentation would be highly regarded.
• Pride in your presentation and the ability to build positive working relationships with customers and colleagues.
