Job summary

New Zealand Panels Group is seeking a hands‑on team member to keep stock moving and production running. You’ll unload freight, verify deliveries, and support on the production floor, with occasional urgent deliveries in a company vehicle.

The role requires a current NZ Class 1 driver’s licence, forklift experience, and a practical, detail‑minded approach. You’ll be on your feet, stay adaptable, and contribute to a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Full NZ Class 1 driver’s licence with ability to pass a driving record check.
• Reliable, careful and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work with hands and stay on your feet for long periods.
• Ability to adapt when priorities change during a shift.
• Experience on a forklift and a current forklift licence.
• MPI accreditation (not essential).

Responsibilities

• Unloading trucks and devanning shipping containers safely and efficiently.
• Checking deliveries, recording stock accurately and putting it away.
• Operating and monitoring production machinery with training provided.
• Making small urgent deliveries in a company vehicle when needed.
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe.

About the role
Want a hands‑on job with plenty of variety? At NZ Panels Group, we make and distribute decorative panels, sinks, taps and benchtop materials, and we’re looking for someone to keep stock moving and production running. No two days look quite the same: you’ll receive freight, work on the production floor, and occasionally make urgent deliveries.
What you’ll be doing

• Unloading trucks and devanning shipping containers safely and efficiently
• Checking deliveries, recording stock accurately and putting it away
• Operating and monitoring production machinery, with full training provided
• Making small urgent deliveries in a company vehicle when needed
• Keeping your work areas clean, tidy and safe

About you

• You hold a full NZ Class 1 driver’s licence and are comfortable with a driving record check
• You’re reliable, careful and detail‑focused
• You’re happy to work with your hands and be on your feet
• You can adapt when priorities change
• You have experience on a forklift and a current forklift licence
• You are MPI accredited (not essential)
