Cross Country Rentals in Masterton is seeking an experienced foreman to lead a panelshop, ensuring quality workmanship and efficient workflows. Qualifications

Panelshop Foreman

Our Masterton Panelshop is seeking an experienced foreman who knows the panel and paint trade, takes pride in quality work and enjoys getting the best out of a team.

This isn't a sit-behind-a-desk role. You'll be on the workshop floor, leading from the front, coordinating workloads to keep jobs moving, and staying on top of workshop administration and reporting. When needed, you'll jump in and use your technical expertise to support the team, ensuring our diverse fleet is repaired and returned to service safely and efficiently.

We are looking for:

• Strong Panel Beating or Coachbuilding experience.
• Relevant industry experience in a workshop supervision or leadership role - we're interested in practical leadership to keep our wheels turning.
• Great communication skills with the ability to lead a team, whilst not being afraid to get on the tools.
• A great eye for detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Strong organisational and planning skills to meet deadlines, with flexibility to work additional hours to ensure jobs get completed.
• A willingness to share skills and experience on to our apprentices.
• A quality-focused and continuous improvement mindset.
• A Class 2 Heavy Vehicle Drivers Licence or a willingness to obtain.
