Kinetic Engineering Design Ltd is seeking a Stores Person on a fixed-term contract for our Albany workshop on Auckland’s North Shore. You will be responsible for picking and packing machine parts, loading containers with an overhead crane, receiving and dispatching orders, controlling stock, and handling loading/off-loading with crane or forklift.

Kinetic Engineering Design Ltd is a well-established and highly respected global leader in the manufacture and export of precision CNC Plasma and Laser cutting machinery.

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our key manufacturing production team as a Stores Person on a Fixed Term contract.

This isn't just about moving boxes from A to B; it's a challenging and exciting role; integral to our fast-paced workshop and crucial for our operational success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and Packing machine assembly parts for production.
• Loading of Containers with use of overhead crane / Lashing and Bracing the equipment
• Receiving and dispatching of orders.
• Controlling of Store Stock.
• Loading and Off-loading trucks with crane or forklift

About You:

You are a proactive team player with a "team-first" mindset. You hold yourself to high work standards and possess a sharp attention to detail, ensuring all procedures and tasks are completed accurately and correctly.

Given our busy schedule of container exports, you must be able to thrive under pressure, juggling multiple tasks effectively, think on your feet, all while maintaining a positive and energetic attitude.

Finally, good communication skills are essential for collaborating with the team, and you must possess the physical fitness and agility required to safely and effectively manoeuver within containers during the loading process.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Full and clean driver’s License
• Basic Computer knowledge
• Experience at using hand and pwer tools
• Good level of fitness is a must.
• Hold the legal right to live and work in New Zealand.
• Valid Forklift License and Reach Truck experience would be ideal but not necessary.
