Job summary

NZDF is seeking an Inventory Coordinator based in Birkenhead, Auckland to manage stock databases and ensure accurate SAP reflection of physical counts.

You will issue, receipting and transfer both ammunition and non-ammunition items, while supporting efficient service and customer requests from across the Defence community.

On onboarding, training is provided and there is potential for flexible working arrangements, along with a competitive benefits package and security coverage.

Qualifications

• Inventory management experience with stock control.
• Strong IT skills: SAP or ERP and MS Office.
• Experience in warehousing activities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills across varied teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an accurate electronic and physical stock database.
• Conduct physical stock checks and reconcile with SAP.
• Perform computer accounting transactions per ledger procedures.
• Issue, receipting and transfer both ammunition and non-ammunition goods.
• Manage customer requests to ensure smooth service.
