Job summary

Rocket Lab in Auckland, New Zealand, is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to keep thousands of components and hundreds of orders moving smoothly, ensuring production teams have what they need exactly when they need it.

The role focuses on FIFO receiving, cycle counting, and 5S organisation, delivering components and raw materials to production while supporting cross-functional teams. Night shift, 40 hours per week, four days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and ability to learn new systems.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Proactive, reliable, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inwards goods on a FIFO basis, following all SOPs.
• Maintain stock accuracy through cycle counting, investigations, and ERP updates.
• Keep the warehouse organised to 5S standards and ensure key processes remain in control.
• Deliver components, kits, Kanban materials, and raw materials to support production priorities.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch items efficiently while supporting operations with logistics runner tasks.
• Work cross-functionally to remove bottlenecks and support internal customers with professional service.
• Follow health & safety procedures, wear required PPE, and report incidents promptly.
