Job summary

CARTERS is seeking an Inventory Coordinator for our Glenfield branch. The role focuses on stock accuracy, maintaining minimum levels, and ensuring all processes align with best practice and company standards.

You will own stock checks, supplier interactions, and goods-in operations, while supporting customers and internal teams. This hands-on role rewards accuracy, initiative, and a proactive approach to inventory and purchasing tasks, with a focus on safe, efficient branch operations and

Qualifications

• Inventory or purchasing experience preferred.
• Proficient with computer systems.
• Strong teamwork and customer-first attitude.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a busy branch.
• Forklift licence is a bonus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Place orders with preferred suppliers, verify prices, and keep FINOPS records accurate.
• Run regular stock checks, daily/monthly reports, and participate in branch stocktakes.
• Manage ongoing supplier relationships by resolving issues promptly and keeping preferred supplier arrangements on track.
• Check deliveries against packing slips and keep the goods-in area well organised.
• Follow up outstanding purchase orders, confirmations and apply freight charges correctly.
• Identify hazards and help maintain a safe working environment for staff, customers, and visitors.
• Support the team and engage with customers in person and via inbound calls.

Our CARTERS Glenfield branch is on the hunt for a detail-focused Inventory Coordinator to become part of the team. You will report directly to the Branch Manager and take ownership of stock accuracy, making sure records are correct, minimum stock levels are kept up to date, and every process lines up with best practice and company standards.

This is a hands-on role where precision and initiative aren't just nice-to-haves, they shape how the branch runs and how customers experience it. If you are someone who thrives on variety, systems, stock, and people, we would love to hear from you.

• Placing orders with preferred suppliers, verifying prices, and keeping FINOPS records accurate
• Running regular stock checks, daily/monthly reports, and participating in branch stocktakes
