Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Tarawhiti, Gisborne, is seeking an Inventory Controller for a full-time, permanent role. You will maintain optimum stock levels and ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time to support efficient warehouse operations.

You will manage FPIM Oracle inventory systems, monitor usage and stock turns, and collaborate with Nurse Managers to keep sub inventories and imprest levels accurate. A focus on KPI delivery and cost savings is expected.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification or related logistics/inventory qualification.
• 1–3 years' inventory supply management experience.
• 1–2 years' experience using an electronic inventory system (preferably Oracle).
• Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and inventory databases.
• Sound numerical skills with data analysis and ordering.
• Desirable: More than 3 years' inventory supply management experience and >2 years with an electronic inventory system.

Responsibilities

• Manage optimum stock levels for the district to ensure right product in the right place.
• Lead computer-based inventory management using FPIM Oracle.
• Monitor usage, stock outs, min/max plans and stock turns.
• Coordinate stocktakes and inter-district transfers.
• Work with Nurse Managers to maintain sub inventory catalogues and imprest levels.
• Support Health NZ purchasing and stores processes and drive cost savings.
