Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Rotorua is seeking an Inventory Controller to manage stock levels across the Lakes district. You will lead computer-based inventory management using FPIM Oracle, monitor min/max, stock turns, and coordinate with Nurse Managers and stores processes.

Reporting to the Distribution Team Lead, you will drive KPI achievement, handle consignment stock and inter-district transfers, and participate in projects to improve inventory systems.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in logistics or inventory management is required.
• Up to 3 years' experience in inventory supply management.
• Up to 2 years' experience using an electronic inventory system (Oracle preferred).
• Strong numerical and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage stock levels and min/max settings to optimize warehouse turnover.
• Monitor usage, stockouts, and KPI achievement.
• Coordinate inter-district transfers and consignment stock.
• Lead stocktakes and support process improvements.
