Job summary

Axiom Built is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Support professional to Christchurch to manage enquiries, prepare quotations, follow up opportunities and maintain a well‑managed sales pipeline. This hands‑on role focuses on building client relationships and bringing structure to the sales process.

Working closely with the Managing Director and wider technical teams, you will own day‑to‑day sales support from the first enquiry through to handover of awarded work, including quoting, pricing

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in internal sales or similar customer-facing role.
• Experience preparing quotations through to a commercial outcome.
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications, schedules or technical product information.
• Confidence making proactive outbound calls and asking direct questions.
• Strong written, phone and face-to-face communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical confidence and sound commercial judgement.
• Strong CRM discipline and the ability to maintain an accurate sales pipeline.
• Competence with Microsoft 365, spreadsheets and cloud-based business systems.

Responsibilities

• Responding to new enquiries and gathering the information required to assess opportunities.
• Undertaking proactive outbound calling, client re-engagement and appointment setting against agreed target lists.
• Preparing accurate, professional quotations using approved pricing, supplier information and templates.
• Reviewing plans, specifications and schedules, and coordinating supplier pricing, take-offs and technical input where required.
• Proactively following up quotations and helping clients progress toward a decision.
• Booking qualified appointments and preparing relevant background information for meetings.
• Maintaining accurate contact, deal and activity records in HubSpot.
• Preparing complete sales-to-operations handover information for awarded projects.
