Jackson Electrical Industries in Auckland is seeking an Internal Sales Representative to be the central hub of our sales function at the Onehunga office. Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, sales support, administration, internal sales, or a similar role within a wholesale, industrial, commercial, manufacturing, or technical environment.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills — confident, professional, and clear when engaging with customers and colleagues by phone, email, and in person.
• A proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset and genuine enthusiasm for learning technical products, sales processes, and ERP/CRM systems.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook). Experience with CRM or ERP systems (e.g., EXO) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, quotes, and product questions across all Jackson product groups.
• Prepare accurate and timely quotes using our product configurator. Enter and manage sales orders in our CRM, ensuring accuracy and documentation.
• Provide critical support to Regional Sales & Account Managers and Business Development Managers — preparing quotes and updating opportunities in CRM.
• Maintain high standards of CRM accuracy—logging tasks, updating opportunities and customer notes, tracking follow-ups.
• Rapidly build knowledge across Lifeguard, OE Elsafe, and Hire & Service, advising customers on product suitability and options.
• Work with Operations, Production, and Dispatch to confirm stock, lead times, and delivery dates; communicate order status to customers.
• Maintain price lists and quote templates; contribute to process improvements and occasionally assist marketing tasks like brochures or samples.
• Uphold Jackson values and contribute to a positive, safe, collaborative team environment.
