Job summary

MOTION is seeking a hands-on sales and customer service professional to support a diverse NZ client base. The role involves front counter service, phone and email enquiries, and light warehouse duties across a dynamic branch network.

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years’ industry experience, strong communication skills, and a collaborative, problem-solving approach. An inclusive culture and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant industry experience; exposure to bearings is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, great phone manner and strong customer service ethics.
• Natural problem-solving mindset; comfortable with blue collar, construction and industrial stakeholders.
• Team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide product support to a diverse customer base.
• Front counter customer service; handle enquiries and orders via phone, email, and counter sales.
• Assist with warehouse duties: picking/packing orders and local deliveries when required.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships to become the supplier of choice for the branch.
• Assist in developing showroom promotions to drive counter sales.
