Job summary

Hynds Group in Auckland seeks a pricing/quoting professional to drive accurate commercial quotes for customers and projects. You will align stock, manufacturing and delivery timing with pricing so promises match delivery. You’ll coordinate with sales to win work and keep quotes moving through to contract fulfillment.

You’ll spend your days pricing and quoting for customers and projects, keeping our pricing schedules straight, and working with the sales team to land numbers that are competitive and right. When a quote needs supply to line up — stock, manufacturing, delivery timing — you’re the one pulling those threads together, so what we promise is what we deliver.

It’s detailed work, and it moves. No two quotes the same — and no standing still.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing accurate commercial quotes for customers and projects from their schedules and product lists
• Keeping our pricing schedules current, consistent and easy to work from
• Working with customers and the sales team to land pricing that’s competitive and gets the work
• Coordinating supply requirements across logistics, manufacturing and supply chain so price, stock and delivery all line up
• Following quotes through — adjusting, chasing, and setting up a clean handover into contract fulfilment
• Juggling multiple quotes and deadlines without letting anything slip

What you’ll bring

• A sharp eye for detail - you’d rather check than assume
• Commercial awareness - a feel for pricing that’s both accurate and competitive
• Some background in pricing, quoting, estimating, internal sales or a coordination‑heavy role
• Strong organisation under deadline pressure - several live quotes at once doesn’t rattle you
• A clear communicator who works well across teams and builds real relationships
• Comfortable in Microsoft Office and quick to pick up new systems

You don’t need a water‑infrastructure background — we’ll teach you the products and the industry. What’s harder to teach is the eye for detail and the head for pricing, so that’s what we’re really after.
