Job summary

Fletcher Building Limited through Mico Pipelines at the Drury branch is seeking an Internal Key Account Manager. You will provide seamless service to Trade customers, manage enquiries, offer product advice, prepare quotes, and deliver tailored solutions ensuring timely deliveries.

Ideal candidates have strong plumbing industry knowledge, proven sales coordination experience, excellent communication, and a full NZ Class 1 licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar sales coordination, internal sales, or key account role.
• Knowledge of plumbing products and/or plumbing industry is Essential.
• Pipeline knowledge is advantageous.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines and perform under pressure.
• Highly organised with sharp attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Full NZ Class 1 drivers’ licence is a Must.

Responsibilities

• Engage regularly with key customers face-to-face, on the phone, and by email.
• Recommend products, prepare quotes, process orders and manage sales documentation.
• Use plumbing knowledge to understand needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Coordinate with Site Managers, track orders and arrange deliveries.
• Communicate delivery times and ensure orders are ready for dispatch.
• Liaise with suppliers to confirm product availability and special requirements.
• Assist on the trade counter, support cycle counting and help with deliveries.
• Maintain store housekeeping and uphold safety standards.
