Job summary

A Christchurch-based maintenance and project services firm is hiring a Plumber for a varied role across residential and commercial sites. You will perform plumbing maintenance, repairs, fault finding, and contribute to upgrades and small projects, with tablet-based reporting and strict site safety. Applicants should have NZ Plumbing Registration preferred but not essential, and be proficient with tablets and driving a NZ licensed vehicle where required.

Qualifications

• NZ Plumbing Registration or Practising Licence is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and team-focused attitude.
• Proficient with tablets and mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing maintenance, repairs, and fault finding across sites.
• Installing and upgrading plumbing systems as needed.
• Working on water supply, stormwater, and drainage systems.
• Replacing and repairing pipework, fixtures, gutters, and downpipes.
• Assisting with refurbishment and upgrade projects.
• Completing job reports and documentation using a tablet-based system.
• Maintaining high health and safety standards on site.

Our client is a well-established maintenance and project services provider with a steady pipeline of residential and commercial work across Christchurch. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Plumber to join their team.

This is a varied role offering a mix of maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and small project work across a range of sites. You'll be joining a supportive team environment where no two days are the same.

• Full NZ Drivers Licence
