Job summary

Chemist Warehouse Ashburton is seeking a passionate Full-Time New Zealand Intern Pharmacist (35 to 40 hours per week) with a current NZ Intern APC to join our vibrant team. In this role you will share your expertise, collaborate on best practices, and drive professional growth while delivering high-quality pharmacy services.

Qualifications

• Pre-registrant year is a mandatory starting point for this role.
• An enthusiasm for pharmacy and patient care is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scripts in and out and dispensing.
• Perform general dispensary administration.
• Order, receive, unpack and manage stock, monitor expiry dates.
• Provide medicine advice to patients within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate prescription records and patient information with privacy compliance.
• Support pharmacists with necessary calculations for checks.
• Process prescriptions using Toniq pharmacy software.

Chemist Warehouse Ashburton is seeking a passionate Full-Time New Zealand Intern Pharmacist (35 to 40 hours per week) with a current NZ Intern APC to join our vibrant team as. In this dynamic role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality pharmacy services, ensuring the highest industry standards are met.

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting with scripts in/and out and dispensing.
• General dispensary administration.
• Order, receive, unpack, and manage dispensary stock, including monitoring stock levels and expiry dates.
• Provide professional advice to patients and customers on medicines, minor ailments, and health-related enquiries within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate prescription records and patient information while ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.
• Perform the necessary calculations for checking by the Pharmacist.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy management software (Toniq)
