Job summary

MBM, a leading New Zealand media agency, seeks a Business Manager in Wellington to own day-to-day client relationships and lead integrated media planning across offline and digital channels. Start-to-go-to-market delivery will be your focus in collaboration with senior leaders and specialist teams.

Depending on experience, you’ll shape strategic planning, client relationships and mentoring of junior team members while delivering smart, effective media solutions for diverse brands.

Qualifications

• Experience within a media agency with media planning and client service.
• Experience across integrated media, offline and digital.
• Strong client relationships and stakeholder management.
• Ability to turn briefs and performance into media recommendations.
• Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident presenting to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborative, curious and solutions-focused.
• Interest in solving client business challenges.
• Mentoring or supporting junior team members is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day client relationships as trusted point of contact.
• Lead media planning and campaign development from brief to go-to-market.
• Develop integrated media recommendations across offline and digital channels.
• Work with specialist teams across Search, Performance, Social and TV.
• Oversee campaign implementation, optimisation, reporting and delivery.
• Turn campaign performance, audience insights and market information into recommendations.
• Manage workflow, budgets, schedules, invoicing and reconciliations.
• Build relationships with media partners and identify new opportunities.
• Mentor junior team members as appropriate.
• Partner with senior leaders on strategic thinking and wider business opportunities.
