Job summary

Awanui Group, New Zealand's largest human and veterinary pathology network, is seeking a Systems Engineer - Infrastructure to join its IT Shared Services team in Christchurch. This permanent, full-time role covers servers, desktops, networks, and related ICT services, with after-hours on-call support when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering, infrastructure support, desktop support, or a similar ICT role.
• Hands-on capability with Active Directory, networking, desktop operating systems, Linux, Exchange Online, Remote Desktop Services, MECM, VoIP, and Windows Server.
• Experience monitoring systems, resolving incidents, documenting solutions, supporting upgrades, and participating in change management.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure and User Technology Support: Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain operating systems, applications, computers, servers, phone systems, printers, and related technology, with clear documentation.
