Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Document Controller to join the Infrastructure and Investment Group (IIG) National Delivery team. You will establish and maintain a structured document control environment to support delivery of major infrastructure projects, working closely with main contractors, project teams and consultants to ensure accurate, traceable documentation.

You will create compliant documentation, enable audit readiness, and guide teams in using digital platforms.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification (Level 5+) in information management or related field.
• Experience using construction/project platforms (Procore, SharePoint, Planview).
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of document control.
• Ability to train and support users in digital systems.
• Familiarity with Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its workplace application.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a structured document control environment for large infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with contractors, project teams and consultants to ensure accurate, traceable documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory and contractor requirements.
• Provide guidance and training on digital systems to teams.
